IF YOU LIVE IN THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA:
Contact your local hospitals emergency room supervisor and find out if they have implemented the new law (Senate bill 1368). Ask if they have a set of procedures in place. If they dont, contact CAIF with the name and address of the hospital, and we will arrange to have an information packet sent.
Contact your local mediatelevision and radio stations, newspapers, local magazines. There is a Public Service Announcement packet that can be sent to them to inform women in your community about this life-saving new law. The PSA is available in English and Spanish.

CAIF can arrange to send copies of the video along with brochures and posters.
IF YOU LIVE IN ANOTHER STATE:
Contact your State Senator, Assemblyperson or Representative to see if your state has a law protecting newborns by decriminalizing safe abandonment, or if it is somewhere in the legislative process.
