What CAIF is doing in Liberia
We support 2 medical clinics in Liberiaone in Paynesville and one in Buchanan. Food and clothing was provided to war orphans through our 57 affiliated churches.
During the civil war our churches conducted feeding programs when we could get foodand turned their facilities into housing for the thousands of displaced children and their parents. In 2006 medical and psychological services were provided by professionals through mission clinics in Buchanan and Paynesville.
The people who are hurt the most are the childrenthey have witnessed the worst kind of violence, often seen their parents and family members killed and yet somehow they have survived. These are the children we continue to seek to help.
